unnamed sources or people familiar with his

thinking. Each article says he's considering something else and has questions about this or that.

That's led to questions about which one is real. So what's the reporting saying? Well, one is saying that Trump is pushing back against a plan presented to him on the menu brought by his staff.

It seems that Trump is concerned that the Bunker Buster we discussed might not actually do the job, even with multiple strikes.

Obviously, that's a rational concern.

The rumors in sourcing says his concern is a little different than most.

His concern is apparently more about the fact that the Bunker Buster in question

has not been battlefield proven, though it has a pretty successful test record.

Hitting the facility in a way that might not actually destroy it would be seen as a failure and might require follow-up strikes

that could become a political quagmire for him.

Another set of reporting says that Trump is truly concerned about a widening conflict.

Part of this is reportedly an actual concern that the U.S. might get drawn into a lengthy conflict.

There have been a number of reasons given for Trump's concern. They're not all altruistic.

One is that he's worried about taking heat from his isolationist base, and he's worried that

people will start to see through the America First marketing. Then there's the big one. Trump is

constantly comparing himself to other presidents. He wants to be seen as the best.
