Well, howdy there, Internet people, it's fell again.

So today, we're going to talk about Trump, Doge, Nukes, and Nopes.

Reporting suggests that Trump's new energy secretary gave one of Musk's team access to some

Department of Energy computers.

Before anybody panics, apparently the people from the

general counsel's office objected and was basically like, you can't give a 23-year-old access. He'll see

the big board. In the end, it looks like they gave him access to the Energy Department's Microsoft

IT network. For those who don't

understand why anybody would be panicking, the U.S. Department of Energy has a lesser-known mission.

Not just do they handle solar panels and stuff like that, they're also in charge of our

nation's nuclear stockpile.

The former SpaceX intern that was granted access had not had the standard background screening.

Another little fun fact.

While most government agencies have a standardized classification system,

the Department of Energy kind of has its own separate way of doing things, because, well,

nuclear stockpile. So in the end, Must's representative was given access to some basic IT functions, but the reporting seems to suggest that even that was given over the objections

of DOE officials. Energy's security personnel

are famously people without any sense of humor and very strict when it comes to protocols.

Because, again, nuclear stockpile. The system he was granted access to does a little bit of cybersecurity for the

National Nuclear Security Administration, but he reportedly does not have access to the lab network

that controls the spicy rocks. I'm going to just go ahead and say that you'll probably see

congressional hearings about this one in the
