Well, howdy there, internet people, it's Bell again.

So today, we're going to talk about Trump crashing out over basic information being given to troops.

In what may be one of the most bizarre episodes so far this term, and that's a pretty high bar. Trump seemed to just absolutely melt down

over a video of congressional Democrats who are ex-military or intelligence, telling troops that they

can or must disobey illegal or unconstitutional orders. So, Trump wouldn't know this, but the military actually

periodically reminds people of their duty to disobey. The Uniform Code of Military Justice

requires troops to disobey orders that violate the law. This isn't a surprising or new development. But Trump spun out on social media,

saying, quote, this is really bad and dangerous to our country. Their words cannot be allowed to stand.

Seditious behavior from traitors. Lock them up. President DJT. He also posted, quote,

It's called seditious behavior at the highest level. Each one of these traders to our country

should be arrested and put on trial. Their words cannot be allowed to stand. We won't have a country anymore.

An example must be set. President DJT. He also posted, quote, seditious behavior, punishable by death.

The ultimate irony here is that those in the military have heard about their duty to disobey

unlawful orders so often, that the video produced by veterans and former intelligence officers

was background noise and redundant, to the point that most troops seeing it would have

completely filtered it out. If Trump had said nothing, this would have been nothing. His response,

however, will cause more and more troops to wonder why Trump cares about their willingness to follow illegal orders.

It will end up making a kind of boring video go viral and be seen by pretty much everybody in the

military as they try to figure out what specific part Trump has an issue with. The only part those troops will find that isn't something they'd seen in training materials

is, quote, we know you are under enormous stress and pressure right now.

Americans trust their military, but that trust is at risk.
