1984 on Iran. The administration seems to be willing to go back to nightly strikes against Iran.

Secretary of Defense Pete Hexeth said, quote, if we need to negotiate with bombs, we'll negotiate with bombs.

Hegsetth said the U.S. would be hitting key facilities, which is weird,

because they've been telling us for weeks that Iran's military had been destroyed.

If they still have key facilities,

maybe the administration has a different definition for the word destroyed

than everybody else.

You know, like obliterated.

Hexeth also said the strikes were, quote,

not to restart the war.

Well, it's certainly not restarting peace,

but I get it. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength. After the second night of U.S. strikes, the situation doesn't appear to have changed much. Iran says the straight is closed. Trump says it

isn't. It also appears that during a recent U.S. strike, three Indian sailors were killed aboard a boat.

The U.S. says was trying to break their blockade of the Iranian blockade.

Iran's Revolutionary Guard said they responded by hitting sights in Jordan.
