Well, howdy there internet people, let's bow again. So today we are going to talk

about Senate Republicans sending a message to women all across the country and it's probably not the message they wanted to send.

In fact, it's counter to what they've been trying to send for quite some time.

So Schumer has been doing his thing.

He's been putting up a lot of bills that put Republicans in a position where they have to actually

express their position on various topics.

Yesterday was the Reproductive Freedom for Women Act.

Ever since Republicans were successful in getting rid of Roe. Republicans at the national level, they've been trying to kind of

walk that back, trying to distance themselves from, you know, that big win, that thing that they wanted,

because they know that it is ridiculously unpopular. Now this is national Republicans. State Republicans are going the other way

with it because the districting is different.

So this bill that went up, you had two Republicans vote in favor of it, vote to support

it, that was Collins and Murkowski. Here's the thing. This would have done exactly

what they have been trying to do this entire time.

If Republicans had supported this, it would have done what they've been trying to do.

But they are so reflexive and they are so ingrained when it comes to opposing reproductive

rights for women that they voted against it.

Here's the truly interesting thing about the Reproductive Freedom for Women Act.

It doesn't do anything.

It doesn't change anything. It doesn't guarantee nationwide access. It does nothing.

It's literally just, hey, we support women having reproductive rights that's it it's just a

declaration an up or down vote on whether or not senators believe women should have rights.
