Well, howdy there internet people, Let's Bowe again. So today we are going to talk about Ohio

again and issue one again because the GOP is apparently going to try again.

Y'all aren't gonna believe this.

Okay, so for context, recently in Ohio there was a vote and issue one was one of the

the bigger things that was being decided.

And what issue one does, in short,

is make it harder for the people to exercise a check on legislative authority,

on the state house, on the state legislature.

Right now, 50% plus 1 can approve a constitutional amendment that limits the authority of those in power.

They wanted to make it 60%. They wanted to make it harder. Now

there are other little things about signature collection and stuff like that, but the main part of it was making it more difficult

for the people to use their voice. It was defeated in a landslide like 14 points.

The GOP Senate President up there said, I think you'll probably see the question coming

back. They're going to try again. And you're not going to believe the reasons why.

When I made a video about this, I said what they're saying is that people in Ohio well they're just

ignorant they're not smart enough to run their own affairs those decisions need to be left to their betters. It doesn't matter if a majority of

people disagree. Those people, they're just not that smart. And that's what the basis of this is. There's no other reason to want to take away or

make it harder for the people to express their position.

The only reason you would do this is if you thought they were just incapable of handling

their own affairs. Okay, so when they were talking

about why they lost, one of the reasons that was given was that well voters were just

confused. They didn't really mean to preserve their own voice. They just didn't know any better.
