Well, howdy there internet people, let's bow again.

So today we are going to talk about Paul Ryan and Trump,

and some words that Ryan had for Trump and for long-time conservatives, it's probably

something that's going to resonate.

So first, for those who don't know who Ryan is,

he's a former Republican Speaker of the House,

he has been a Republican forever, 20 years or more.

And outside of those who have just signed everything over to Trump, pretty well respected within

conservative circles because despite him being, let's just say not incredibly personable to a whole lot of people,

he is viewed within conservative circles as being incredibly principled.

This is what he had to say.

I'm a conservative Republican.

Trump is a populist. He's not a conservative. I would prefer a party

that is based on principles, not personality or populism. This populism is

untethered to principles.

And he was asked, he's like,

is this, you know, because of that whole Jan 6 thing,

and he said, uh, that's part of it I think it really is just

character at the end of the day and the fact that if you're willing to put yourself

above the Constitution an oath you swear when

you take federal office, whether as President or a member of Congress, you swear an oath
