Well, howdy there internet people, it's Bell again. So today we're going to talk about events. Just a quick recap. Recently, Elon Musk threw his weight behind Donald Trump.

Musk started up a pack called the America Pack and is using it to support Trump.

Musk then started daily million dollar giveaways to registered voters in swing states.

When we talked about it, we said a lot of election experts said that it might be illegal.

And the Department of Justice reportedly warned the PAC about its activities.

The PAC didn't announce a winner the next day. Then, restarted the giveaway.

I said over on the roads that I didn't think this story was over.

Well, the district attorney in Philadelphia didn't think this story was over.

Well, the district attorney in Philadelphia

has filed suit to stop the giveaways.

But not for the vote-buying concerns

most have been talking about.

Instead, the suit alleges, quote,

America PAC and Musk are lulling Philadelphia citizens

and others in the Commonwealth and other swing states in the

upcoming election to give up their personal identifying

information and make a political pledge in exchange for the chance to win a million dollars. It goes on to a

ledge that is a lottery and it is indisputably an unlawful lottery. Lottereries in Pennsylvania must be operated and administered by the state, according to the DA's office.

The suit further alleges, quote, though Musk says that a winner's selection is random, that appears

false because multiple winners that have been selected are individuals who have shown up at

Trump rallies in Pennsylvania.

That's a new twist and something I was unaware of until the suit came out.
