Well, howdy there internet people, it's Bell again.

So today, we're going to talk about Trump's tax plan

and his new plan to eliminate federal income taxes.

That's right. If you've missed it, former President Trump

is promising to eliminate income taxes. Not just does he plan to

eliminate federal income tax?

He's indicating he will replace the lost revenue

with tariffs.

Trump first rambled this idea out during his little stop

at a barber shop, quote this is when the country was

relatively the richest it ever was it had all tariffs it didn't have an income

tax everybody kind of blew It didn't have an income tax.

Everybody kind of blew it off at first because it's such a weird thing to say.

But then, when he was asked about it again on a podcast, he said, yeah, sure, why not?

Why not?

Math, mainly.

The US government takes in about $24 trillion dollars from income tax, imported goods is

around 3.2 trillion. So that's a 75% tariff on everything.

Inflation will skyrocket and those who earn the least will feel it the most.

It will rapidly destroy the economy.

What happens next?

Imports drop. Why?
