Well, howdy there internet people, let's bow again. So today we are going to talk about McCarthy

and Biden and Trump and the impeachment inquiry and how an opinion from the Trump days might cause a little bit of an

issue for McCarthy and his impeachment inquiry.

Okay, so if you miss the news, the Republican Speaker of the House, McCarthy,

he announced an impeachment that the office of legal counsel which is part of the Department of Justice

they have this opinion from back when Trump was in office and you know that whole

impeachment I guess plural thing was going on.

And the opinion in short version,

it basically says, you know, the Constitution

gives the House of Representatives sole power of impeachment

of impeachment. And it goes on to say

for precisely that reason the house itself must authorize an impeachment

inquiry as it has done in virtually every prior impeachment

investigation in our nation's history, including every one involving a

president. It goes on, no committee may undertake the momentous move from legislative oversight to impeachment

without a delegation by the full House of such authority. Basically it means McCarthy needs a vote. He's got to

take a vote. The reason he did it this way is because well they don't have the

votes. That seems pretty obvious. are some republicans who are tired of the

games and they're not going to play them anymore

so they won't vote for the impeachment inquiry

McCarthy has announced it now he is going to say that well that tradition it fell by

the wayside when Pelosi announced the impeachment inquiry into Trump in September.
