Well, howdy there, internet people? It's bell again.

So today, we're going to talk about GOP senators trashing Trump's deal.

Over the last few days, a number of Republican senators, even some of Trump's closest allies,

are not only doubting Trump's Iran deal, they're publicly talking about it, and in some cases,

publicly trashing it. Senator John Cornyn of Texas, who probably isn't exactly a Trump fan at the

moment, is having doubts because Trump's rhetoric about victory doesn't match the reality and said, quote,

I supported the president's operation at Big Fury because I believe he has delayed the Iranian regime's ability to get a nuclear weapon,

which is very, very important.

But my hope would have been that he would have finished the job and basically

eliminated that threat in the future. Senator Ted Cruz, who is also of Texas, doesn't seem to

like the idea of giving financial support to the Iranian government, and said, quote,

history demonstrates that giving billions of dollars to the Iranian government and said, quote, history demonstrates that giving billions of dollars to theocratic lunatics who want to murder

us is an exceptionally bad idea. And I think, unfortunately, the president is receiving some

really bad advice on this deal.
