Well, howdy there, Internet people, it's Bell again.

So today, we're going to talk about the Epstein bill passing, and Trump pretending he's okay with it.

Despite months of opposition from Trump, the Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives passed the effort to release the Epstein files.

Trump is pretending he's okay with them being released now.

But in the past, he is called those who were in support of releasing the files weak and his past supporters

and accuse them of doing the Democrats' work.

While he's acting like everything is fine, and trying to downplay the fact that he lost control of MAGA,

one of his most loyal supporters had a different view.

Marjorie Taylor Green, who Trump is called a traitor, lamented watching the man she supported through three elections, oppose the bill, and said, quote,

This has been one of the most destructive things to MAGA, and then added, quote, watching this actually turn into a fight has ripped Maga apart.

Speaker of the House Johnson is also now acting like he supports the effort after it was

widely believed he sent the House home early to try to avoid a vote on the Epstein files.

Massey, who ultimately beat Trump's effort by using a discharge petition,

was having none of it, saying, quote, if he actually wanted the Epstein files released,

he could have offered his suggestions four months ago and brought it to the floor.

Massey was also not playing along with the idea that

Trump and Johnson were on board with this from the beginning, saying, quote,

we fought the president, the attorney general, the FBI director, the speaker of the house,

and the vice president to get this win.

The final vote count was 427 in favor of releasing, with one voting to oppose. Five members

didn't vote. The sole vote on Trump's side was Clay Higgins of Louisiana. Regardless of Trump's current rhetoric, the entire country saw him try to stop this vote for months.

And this is a massive, overwhelming rebuke of Trump.
