Well, howdy there, Internet people it spell again.

So today, we're going to talk about Trump's National Guard moves falling apart.

Trump's deployment of National Guard troops to Chicago, Los Angeles, Portland, and Memphis are all changing, or quote, downsizing slash right sizing. Starting with Chicago,

reporting says about half the troops deployed from the Texas National Guard will simply be sent home,

while the other half will be sent to Fort Bliss, which is an army base in Texas and New Mexico.

The 300 or so Illinois National Guard troops will remain active and will be occupied with training duties,

but are not currently allowed to conduct operations.

Los Angeles will reportedly see about 100 troops remain in low visibility positions.

The rumor mill says they're likely to just be standing around federal facilities.

Meanwhile in Portland, all of the 200 or so troops from California's National Guard are being sent home,

and the troops on deployment from the Oregon National Guard will be cut to 100.

It seems the plan is once again to have them standing around at federal facilities.

The governor of Oregon, Tina Kotech, wants the rest of the troops sent home to, and in a statement, said, quote,

members of the Oregon National Guard, who are our friends and neighbors, have been away from their families and jobs for 50 days on an unnecessary deployment.

With the holidays approaching, every single member deserves to go home.

After hearing the news that California troops would be headed home, a spokesperson for Governor

Gavin Newsom said Trump, quote, never should have illegally deployed our troops in the first place.

Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker said this showed that Trump was simply trying to normalize

troops in American cities. Meanwhile in Tennessee, the Davidson County Chancery Court found that

the governor there didn't have the authority to deploy troops to

Memphis the way he did. Basically, since there wasn't a grave emergency or disaster, and the local

officials hadn't requested the troops, they weren't supposed to be there. The ruling temporarily
