Well, howdy there, Internet people, it's Bell again.

So today, we're going to talk about blame and what Democrats should learn.

The desire to find someone to blame for Trump's win is mounting, and fingers are pointing

everywhere.

The interesting thing is that most, not all, but most of the takes about whose fault it is,

were decided before the first vote was cast.

When you look at people pointing fingers, scroll back a month in their feeds and see who they

were mad at back then.

Other than people who were just talking about people who voted

against their own interests, I haven't seen a single person who posted a blame take that differed

from their opinion before voting even started. So what does that mean? It's not based on the numbers or information that came out of the election.

When new information becomes available, you should use that to inform and adjust your opinion.

That's not happening. And that's actually part of the problem.

I'm not actually seeing the question that should be

asked based on data. I'm not saying the Democratic Party didn't make mistakes. I've got a list.

But what's the actual anomaly in the result? The thing that should stand out the most. Trump won the popular vote.

Republicans haven't won the popular vote in 20 years. That is the outlier that needs to be

noticed. More than 70 million people voted for Trump. His numbers remained pretty much the same as

2020. And people are going to say that

shows there was low turnout on the Democratic side of the aisle. Sure, lower than 2020. But that

misses the wider question. Think about everything Trump did after 2020 and all of the revelations. It didn't have

any real effect on his support. New information became available and it didn't inform or adjust the
