podcast designed to provide you with a little added motivation to get out the door, take the walk,

and even more importantly, to build a life-changing walking habit. Today's 10-minute walk starts right after this.

One of my favorite aspects of walking is using this to create adventures. Yesterday I was talking about the beauty of walking through airports and how much I love

brand new airports, exploring, seeing what they have, what shops, what restaurants,

how people in different airports react differently. Well, yesterday's airport was not a new airport for me.

In fact, it's probably the airport that I've been in more often than any other airport in my life.

BWI, Baltimore Washington International. For decades, that was my home airport until we moved to Myrtle Beach.

And so yesterday, I flew from Myrtle Beach into BWI.

And for the next three days, we're going to be exploring Washington, D.C.

And then following two days after that, I'm going to give you an audio tour of where I grew up.

In fact, I walked to school every day after we moved into

the house where I grew up. It was in the middle of third grade. So from that point, third grade,

fourth grade, fifth and sixth grade, I walked to and from school every day. And my recollection is that walk was probably

15, 20 minutes. Well, I'm going to actually walk from the house where I grew up to that elementary

school, we'll time it in real time to see how long it takes,

and I'll describe some of the sites along the way.

So I'm looking forward to that.
