Hi everyone and welcome back to a brand new season of my podcast, the Estée La Land Show.

0:07.0

I'm your host, Estée La Land. And in the first episode, we'll be talking to my friend Margaret,

0:11.7

who you can find on Instagram at MNS Bell or on YouTube.com slash Margaret Bell. In this episode,

0:18.5

Margaret speaks very openly about her advice to anyone suffering with

0:22.7

mental health issues. And in general, I just find Margaret a joy to speak to because she is just so

0:28.0

honest. I hope you enjoy this episode. Let's get into it. Hello, Margaret. Hi, I say. As I was just saying to you before we started recording, I'm slightly nervous because today we're

0:42.4

0:44.3

And for some reason, talking about anxiety and that sort of subject always gives me

1:16.5

we're friends in real life, so I kind of know. So if you wouldn't mind sharing a little bit

1:22.0

about your mental health journey, whatever you're comfortable sharing. Okay. So I definitely would say I'm someone who's always like being

1:29.1

anxious. I remember like as early as being sick, just being anxious like at like a family

1:34.4

gathering and stuff like that. But kind of at that time I didn't really know that that was the

1:39.8

thing or that was call anxiety. So I'd say I've always had that since I was a kid.

1:46.0

And then I feel like that definitely got worse.

1:50.0

I'd say in the later part of school, so sixth form here, which is when you're 16 to 18.
