Do you ever find yourself confused about what to do in your day-to-day life?

Maybe it's on big decisions, maybe it's on little decisions, but you just wonder, am I doing the right thing?

Is this really what I'm supposed to be doing?

You know, in the pattern of Matthew

6, where Jesus taught us to pray,

he said a very interesting statement

in Matthew 6 and verse 10.

And that is this.

Jesus said, in our prayers, we should say,

your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

And what this is, what Jesus wanted us to do was have a moment of surrender every day,

which is why in our daily guided prayers, you'll notice so often we talk about surrender or

letting go or trusting God. The reason we do this every day is this is how Jesus taught us to pray

every day. So today we're going to spend these next few moments simply praying through this one

your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

I want you to imagine this with me. Heaven is the place where God is completely in charge.

It's the place where our heavenly father rules and he reigns. And unlike earth, where not everybody comes into alignment with his rule, in heaven, every person

comes into alignment with the rule of God.

And in heaven, the Bible tells us, there is no tears, there is no sickness, there's perfect peace, there's no harm that humans commit one

to another, and that is a place of unconditional love and acceptance.
