And let's kick off the news segment here,

following up on some Cinemicon stuff that happened at the end of last week.

So Stephen Spielberg showed up for his first Cinemicon

and tried to drum up a higher commitment to theatrical windows.

Despite that petition that we talked about last week,

now growing to well over 3,000 names,

Paramount's David Ellison came out and tried to reassure people

that the Paramount Warner Brothers merger would be okay because he promised a 45-day theatrical window for all of their films.

Let's see, Paramount also announced that the Call of Duty movie directed by Peter Berg and written by Taylor Sheridan is going to be coming to theaters in June of 2028.

And they confirmed for what feels like the 100th time

that Top Gun 3 is in the works with Tom Cruise coming back as Maverick.

We still don't have any actual concrete details on that.

Meanwhile, Disney announced something during their presentation

called Infinity Vision,

which is just a transparent attempt

to save face after losing IMAX screens to Dune Part 3 this coming December. So

Avengers Doomsday is still coming out the same day as Dune 3. So instead of just moving
