We'll have a conversation about the new movie faces of death and present an interview with the filmmakers behind that movie. And then we'll talk about Monarch, Legacy of Monsters, season two, and present an interview with some of the folks behind that show, including Kurt Russell. My name is Ben Pearson. | 0:25.4 | There's a new Long Legs movie in the works. This is something that I definitely did not foresee. |
| 0:30.1 | Long Legs was a hugely successful horror film. I believe it's the highest grossing independent |
| 0:35.5 | film of the past 10 years. And that came out a couple years ago. |
| 0:39.2 | Neon released that movie. |
| 0:40.6 | And now Osgood Perkins, the writer and director, is working on a new long-legs film that stars |
| 0:45.2 | Nicholas Cage. |
| 0:46.3 | But interestingly, Neon is not involved this time around. |
| 0:49.8 | So Paramount Pictures has kind of bought the rights to distribute this story. |
| 0:55.1 | So that's pretty much all we know about this film at this point, except we know that it's not a sequel, but something, quote, set in the long legs universe, end quote. |

| 1:13.1 | second film in a franchise from Osgood Perkins. So, yeah, definitely a notable story there. |

| 1:27.9 | be out. These are DC Universe movies that are coming out after a James Guns Superman, but |
| 1:33.3 | Man of Tomorrow is the name of the follow-up film. It's been described as like a follow-up and not |
| 1:39.6 | explicitly a sequel, but it follows Lex Luther and Superman kind of teaming up to fight against |
| 1:46.6 | Brainiac, who is a major villain in the DC universe. We've talked about all that on the podcast |
| 1:52.2 | before, but what we have not talked about is that Adra Arjona has been cast as someone mysterious |
| 1:58.8 | in this new film, Man of Tomorrow. |
