Summary

The cereal talk comes at the very end.

Before that, the serious talk.

We look forward to Vanderbilt by looking back at Mississippi State. What can LSU fix from the loss? What can LSU build on? And why is T-Bob trying to intimidate us?

Plenty of discussion on Derek Stingley's return, Ali Gaye's breakout, Myles Brennan's ups and downs, and of course we answer your questions as fast as we can before Hester has to do his radio show.

T-Bob was just in the studios. We basically had like an anchorman level duel going on there. The tensions were very high. Jacob Pester here, we outnumbered him two to one. He outnumbered us just in terms of sheer strength. But I think we came out on top. Yeah, you're right. So we walk in. He knew we were coming in to do the podcast today. He had his feet up. He was relaxed, arms behind his head. I think he knew what he was doing. It was a power message, but you know what? We kicked him out. He's out here. I've been thinking about starting a podcast war with Brody and Teabob, and this might be the week to do it, because I'm feeling, I'm feeling feisty this week, Hester, and I think the reasons are obvious. One, LSU got beat 44-34-34 to Mississippi State. We're going to talk about that, but I want to frame everything in terms of moving forward. I'll admit from the top, I haven't paid a lick of attention to Vanderbilt. that's that's always my crutch my weakness on this podcast i don't pay attention to the opponent

ahead of time really unless I'll admit from the top, I haven't paid a lick of attention to Vanderbilt. That's always my crutch, my weakness on this podcast.

1:29.6

I don't pay attention to the opponent ahead of time, really, unless it's like a really, really big game. I'm just too focused on LSU, but I do want to take everything that we saw Saturday, which was four or five days ago now, and everyone's kind of moved past it. I want to dig at those old wounds, if you will, but see how we can look at it going forward to things that can be fixed and approach it. But yeah, I'm in a feisty mood this week. People have been in my Twitter mentions talking about how I peddle propaganda and, and I mean, they're kind of right about that. That's basically what I do. State media. State media, you know.

2:01.8

But no, look, I'm trying to be honest this week,

2:19.3

and I'm trying to point out the things that I think LSU can build on. Look, there were a million bad things, and we'll talk about some of those things. But there are some things, I think, that LES you can build on. And I want to start with the defense. And the reason I want to start with the defense is because to me, that's where the game was lost.
