We've got to win our one-on-ones, or we've got to do something different. And some of the young guys that hadn't played them a bunch, you know, they're just going to, I think they're going

to be really good football players.

They just got against a lot of experience.

And we wasn't there today, obviously.

I'm sorry I apologize I lied

I've said the hurry up wasn't coming back this season, and yet here we are with the hurry up. Now, let me explain myself. I said all off-season, I wasn't coming back with the hurry-up, and yet here we are, 838 in my office recording a hurry-up. Now, I have an excuse, and I have some explaining to do. First of all, when I said I wasn't going to do a hurry up, it was for several reasons. One, the hurry up exhausted me last year because a lot of games were late. I stayed up late, got home late, a lot of 3.30, 4 a.m. bedtimes. I have two young children getting up early in the morning. The hurry up got very, very difficult. So that was one reason that I was abandoning the hurry up. The other was last year, LSU went 15 and O. And I just, I knew LSU wasn't going 15 and O this year. And I kind of thought that LSU would lose a game this year. And I didn't know how I would do a hurry up after LSU lost the game because I had only ever done them with LSU being undefeated.

And I was like, man, I'm just going to walk off in the sunset. I'm going to retire the hurry up.

It's undefeated, 15 and 0, and we're going to roll with it. But you know what? I'm recording this for you and I'm recording this for all the people. And there's a lot of you. And I'm actually serious. I was joking a little bit.

I'm actually serious when I say this.

So many people reached out and said that they wanted this, they enjoyed this,

that I said, I'm going to do it, no matter

what, winter loss, I'm going to do it for the season. We're doing the hurry up. It's coming back. Now, it's going to be different this year for a number of reasons. The most obvious of which is LSU is not undefeated. They are not going to go undefeated. They just lost to Mississippi State,

and we're going to talk about that.

It is back.

It is going to be different.

And the biggest reason it's going to be different, and the biggest way it's going to be different is last year the hurry up was a very raw thing. We made it up on the fly. Kind of like we did with the hype videos. People gave us a lot of credit for our hype videos last year, and they were great.
