Jack passed away September 16th this past Thursday, and he was the brand manager of Benjamin Franklin Plumbing under authority brands.

Jack joined Benjamin Franklin Plumbing under ClockWorks in 2008 and has been part of the franchise ever since.

Jack was a strong advocate of Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, and frankly, he's a strong advocate of the plumbing trade in general.

He had a real passion for bringing kids into the plumbing trade and giving them a shot at freedom, frankly, and financial success that so many of us have found in the plumbing trades.

Nate and I had the opportunity to actually eat some ice cream with Jack this past June and hang out with them and chat for a little bit.

And the same thing that strikes us every time we hang out with Jack struck us then as well,

that he was just a fountain of optimism and smiles and just the most caring guy.

Yeah, well, I think it's a combination of hard work and opportunity, right?

And what drove me is I really couldn't fail.

Like, I mean, my wife and I were so far in debt that if I failed, I mean, it was going to be an ugly situation. And so I worked harder than I ever had my entire life to get there. And, you know, a couple of things that I look at that helped me. And I think, you know, business owners say what can help them. I look at having that family support is important. important. I mean, if you're you have a partner, parents, or whatever it is, I mean, you go home at night.
