And of course, we're going to get to some of the returns in Major League Baseball, especially

one for a closer. So we'll talk about him too. But first, we got to talk about somebody who

had a terrific streak set some records as well. Christopher Sanchez, another fantastic outing for him, but unfortunately,

the scoreless inning streak was snapped. He struck out eight, though. I did give up a single run.

So the streak ended 50 and two-thirds innings before Jackson Merrill, of all people, hitting a buck 80

is the guy that breaks it. I mean, that's just the worst. That's so baseball right there.

The streak finishes as the fifth longest in baseball since 1920, and the longest by a

left-handed pitcher ever is ERA sits at one four, six. And in the live ball era, only two guys

had a longer streak, 58 innings for Don Drysdale and 59 for Oral Hirschise are pretty

spectacular stuff from one Christopher Sanchez.

Also, fun fact, that outing yesterday and that ERA, he wasn't even the best ERA pitcher

going yesterday despite all of those.

There was another guy with a really good one.
