And today, we're going to talk hitters. And I've got not one, but two outfielders that I want to talk about. I don't know who else is going to talk about. what a lovely surprise it's going to be for me. I want to start with a veteran for me, though.

How about Jock Peterson, who is rostered in just 14% of leagues over on CBS? Now, I understand he's in a platoon, but he's on the strong side of that platoon. And so far on the year, he's had a pretty good season. 57 games, eight home runs. He's got 21 RBI. He's sitting 253, which is again, jock Peterson-ask will take that. 27 walks, 38 strikeouts, so at least he's walking. He's not killing you with the strikeouts. Over his last week, he's been very hot, hitting 369 over that span, and coming off a pretty solid May, too. Again, hitting just 250, but he's got a 919 OPS over that span with six home runs and 13 RBI. He was slow out of the gate in April, just two home runs. But Jock Peterson, we always know historically, is one of these guys that is a very streaky player. When he gets on a tear, Jack Peterson gives you the baseball like it's basically a big giant beach ball, and he starts hitting a lot of home runs. So is he a long-term fixed to a problem? No, but with some looming issues going on with Aaron Judge and a couple other outfielders, I want to stick to the outfield today and give you at least some patches that you could throw on what looks like an imminent I-L stint, I would imagine for Aaron Judge. And look, Jack Peterson doesn't replace him in any way. No one replaces Aaron Judge, but we need some bodies in the outfield. We need some depth, especially with some of the injuries that we've had so far. So Welsh, when you were looking ahead to the hitters on the waiver wire, who stands out to you? Yeah, the number one guy that stood out is on the team that scores more runs than anybody else. And it's Curtis Meade. I did not think I was going to be on the Curtis

out. But since he's been with the Nationals, like, he is coming into his own. And he is putting

up some really interesting stats that could even keep some prospects away. Still 25 years old,

wildly above across the board. The hitting profile looks phenomenal. 10.8% barrel percentage.

That is more than double what he did last year.

He's getting the ball in the air.

He's hitting the ball harder than he's ever done.

2:38.9

He's striking out less than ever, only 17% of the time with a 13% walk rate.

2:45.2

And you guessed it, the thing we're always looking for, he's pulling balls in the air at a higher

2:49.4

degree than he's ever done, 22.5%, which is like a

2:52.8

really high number. His own contact rate is up. And when you look at like pitch types right now,
