Hello, it's Thanksgiving.

It's the radio segment that's going green this Thanksgiving,

encouraging you not to throw out your old turkey carcass,

and instead watch a quick YouTube video on how to turn that bird into a cat house for your feline friend.

Most people go with a turkey stock, but okay.

That's right.

It's green, and it's laser stories.

The second we read weird news stories around the globe,

just like everyone else does,

except we've got a laser.

Those other gobble gazebos just don't.

This first laser story is out of Youngstown, Ohio. Oh, Ohio. A 32-year-old man named Germain Young went to a Denny's recently and asked his server about the law enforcement discount. Oh, okay. He flashed a detective badge and got his bill reduced. Oh. Interesting. I used to work at Denny's. I don't remember that. That must be a new thing. Or maybe it's new, yeah. It haven't worked there in a long time. And then he left two 20s on the table and walked out. That's great. The employees later discovered that the bills germane left were counterfeit. Oh. And they called the cops. And then he answered the cop. Yeah.

I was like he is the cops.

Well, they looked into it and determined the money was indeed fake and that Germain

was actually not employed as a cop.

In fact, one of the waiters at Denny's fell for his fake badge, which was purchased at a local

99-cent store.

I mean, why go to all that trouble just to dine and dash?

I know.

Do you know what I mean?

An impersonating a law enforcement officer.

But 99-cent store selling pretty realistic-looking police badges.
