Home? what in the 1850s and holy mackerel they're good though and of course that's the Paul Revere orchestra and the Kim Cross dancers featuring boytenor Ted Webster asking the musical question,

what if there were only 75 trombones to lead the big parade?

Well, first of all Ted, that's a terrific question, but I want to

point out that the reason I picked Paul Revere to lead the orchestra today is he was a great orchestra leader he was a great band

leader and he just passed away that uh... terrific band you may know or you may

remember or you may have heard of Paul Revere and the Raiders.

I just read his obituary in the LA Times this morning and I think I've mentioned once or twice over the months and years

of doing this show that I love so much that I really enjoy reading obituaries and not for any kind of dark funny reason I love

reading obituaries because they're like tiny biographies of sometimes terrific people sometimes I don't read bad

people's biographies.
