he was in Sure Irville, Indiana, attending a family event, a wedding, and all was well in

the kingdom by the sea. Everyone was working there was

lots of lots of beautiful smiles and Indiana never looked better. Jim, since you attended your wedding

and you've returned to Lancaster,

what did you see that evening and in route back

are people still spending?

One quick note at my daughter's reception at Cedar Lake,

my brother-in-law who is a candy broker

complain that I'm too optimistic that his company is making less money than it did last year and his wife who is a high-end cheese broker, you know, the gourmet

Jesus, she's complaining about the same thing but I get to the airport

I'm sitting next to a utility executive and he's complaining to one of the companies

management's about they're not investing enough money in the

technology for customer interface and that they're

getting terrible customer interface because they're being too cheap.

And I used artificial intelligence to figure out who he was, who he was talking to and which energy

company it was. But so there's a huge company that's cutting back on capital expenditures.

I get back to Lancaster County and it's more of the same.
