Let's start with the injury update here. The Lakers, take it on the Pacers and not great news. Marcus Smart is doubtful.

And Marcus Smart has become very key, very critical to this team, both by the eye test,

but as well as by the advanced stats as well.

See, LeBron James, Luca Donchich and Austin Reeves, they are indeed a net positive.

In fact, they're really damn good when the three of them are on the floor over the course of even the season now.

Now, if you look at the last 10 games, it's even better.

But for the entire season, LeBron, Luca, and Austin together on the floor are a plus 7.3 right now.

That's really, really good.

You're winning games when those three are on the floor.

Go figure, right?

Those three on the floor together, three good basketball players, and it's a positive

thing.

Is that crazy?

Bizarre.

Who would have thought that Austin, LeBron, and Luca could be a winning combination?

So weird.

Anyway, Marcus Smart, with him added in, though, on the season.

So not small sample size on the season plus 15.6.

More than double.

Marcus Smart is a major difference maker for the Lakers this season.

And so him not being available, not good.
