Just a rough game.

A fight all the way through had a number of things not go their way.

And the Lakers ultimately see their winning streak end at nine.

Still, what a run it's been for the Lakers during this streak.

They didn't play great basketball tonight, didn't play, didn't play their best,

certainly didn't shoot their best, had a rough night shooting

the ball, just 28% from three. Meanwhile, Detroit, a legitimately bad three-point shooting team,

42% from deep. And oftentimes that's all it takes to flip a game in the NBA. Of course,

a lot more happened here than just some shooting numbers that skewed things in

this one. A lot of stuff to get into. Happy to see you all here. And let's dive into this. So the

Lakers, no Marcus Smart, no Rui Hachamura. I thought not having Marcus Smart definitely impacted

things quite a bad. Even Rui, just to get somebody who could knock down a three for them,

even though he's been a bit more hit or miss in terms of his overall quality off the bench for the Lakers. He can do some good things for him, and they could have used his shooting in this one. I thought the Lakers lack of depth exposed a little bit here. Jared Vanderbilt played fine. I had no issue. I thought he did some good things out there.

Vando in 15 minutes got a run for the first time in quite a while off the bench for the

Lakers. A due thero even got onto the court for a few possessions. Only played two minutes. But

LeBron James finishes with 12 points, 10 assists, nine boards, nearly a triple double, but four turnovers, four of ten

shooting. Despite some good moments, it wasn't LeBron's best performance overall.
