the Lakers. Get the win over the Pacers is a little bit too close for comfort at the end.

But final score 137, 130, the Lakers finish things off with the victory that they needed.

Go 5 and 1 on the road trip. That is getting it getting it done lots to get into we'll talk a little bit about this game plus we'll talk about the road trip in general because i know there wasn't you kind of you knew the lakers would get a win and this one against the pacers we'll talk more about what the road trip has meant the standings we'll take a look at that there's some craziness going on around the NBA right now. The Hawks and the Pistons in OT. It looks like the Celtics are right now on pace to beat the Thunder, which could actually have some ramifications for the Lakers. We'll get into that. The Rockets and the Wolves are playing in just a few moments. And that game is going to have some playoff implications as well

uh that was a little too close for comfort at the end uh would have been nice to be able to cruise a

little more and and rest some of the guys going back home

at the end of this trip but they got the w that's what matters uh five and one trip dodgers

opening day is tomorrow things are looking good yeah let's go let's go opening day for m lb well

i know technically opening opening opening day was today but everybody's the Giants. We don't count that. Yeah. Yeah. So the Lakers get it done. Yes, it was a little close for comfort. And I know right now Lakers fans are coming out of this game. Kind of sour. Kind of upset that it got as close as it did. The Lakers gave up, well, a lot of points in the fourth quarter.

In fact, we just look at the box score.

The Lakers gave up 45 points in the fourth quarter to put the Pacers kind of back into things.

The real downside, though, was that LeBron, Luca, Austin, they had to play the fourth quarter.

The Lakers at one point were up 20 something, 29, I believe, was their biggest lead of the game.

And that meant that instead of being able to rest your guys in the fourth quarter,

because the Lakers, I mean, clearly took their foot off the gaffs to such a degree.

Yeah, their biggest lead was 29 in a game

they led the entire way. They took their foot off the gas so much that they couldn't get their

guys rest. But the important part, ultimately, they got the win, even if that does leave a bit of

sour taste in the mouth of Lakers fans. Yeah, you know, I think it was safe to say they weren't playing exceptionally hard down the

stretch anyway, so it was sort of like they were kind of resting.

You know, maybe it doesn't help the big three's net rating.
