Lane and the Lakers have not won four straight. Maybe not in the prettiest fashion. And this

win over the Hornets certainly made things a bit more difficult than they needed to. But we'll

take the win for L.A. getting the job done when the final buzzer

sounded. Anthony Davis, what a monster game. Final score was 112 to 107 AD, though, 42 points,

23 rebounds. Unbelievable. He was on fire to start the game in the first quarter the first quarter the

Lakers looked great, had all kinds of energy, then they spent the rest of the game trying

to give it all back.

But Anthony Davis again, 42 points, 23 rebounds, two blocks, two assists, eight to 10 at the

free throw line, 17 to 28 shooting AD.

What a performance. LeBronron James not the best shooting night from

him obviously one of eight from three 22 points for him seven boards eight assists now you got a

one or two with LeBron is he going to play tomorrow Lakers play second night of a back to back

in Philly on the road. But LeBron

maybe looked a little bit worn out in this one. But seven boards, eight assists still put

up the counting stats. Five turnovers though for LeBron and didn't shoot particularly great in

this one. But again, came through when the Lakers needed him to. Austin Reeves struggled a little bit shooting the ball as well,

five and 14. You know, the whole Lakers team, the reason why this is so close. This is a Hornet's side without Lamella ball, who unfortunately left early due to an ankle injury. You see the Lakers. This is how you keep the Hornets in a game like this. 21% from 3, 6 of 28 shooting.

That's just not good enough.

And then you go take a look what the Hornets did. 39% from 3. They were actually well above that. They were at 48% at 1 point during the game. So the Hornets shot really well from deep, and they shot a high enough percentage to where the Lakers, despite having some serious advantages and having Anthony Davis, this game wound up being much closer than it should

have been. In fact, you look at the by quarter scores here. The Lakers won the first, 39 to 19.

Look at that. 20 point Lakers lead after the first quarter, but then they lost the second by 12.
