because of course, the Lakers announced that Jared Vanderbilt will actually not be playing

in tonight's game.

He is out for this one, unfortunately.

So when I get to that part of the show and I talk a little bit about how JJ said Vando was going to play, and that was the plan. And all of that just kind of omit that. Just forget about that part. Jared Vanderbilt is out tonight. Lakers don't want to play them on the second night of a back-to-back, which is totally understandable. So that important update on tonight's game against the 76ers. The Lakers second night of a back-to-back on the road tonight against the Philadelphia 76ers. A very, very

injured Philadelphia 76ers team. I'm going to take a look at those injury reports. The Lakers

got a really important update on their injury report, which we'll get into. I'll talk a little

bit about the trade front as well as the mail bang and what I think will be a shorter version

of the show today because we do have,

of course, the game coming up, the clock it is ticking.

The NBA thought it was going to be when they put it on national TV. There's going to be a lot of guys out. And again, we'll dig into the injury report in just a moment. But right now the Lakers are four-point favorite. Anthony Davis, Rui Hachamara, LeBron James, all probable. Rui has been out dealing with a CAF issue. And now the big question becomes, does Rui reclaim his starting job or does Doreen Phine Smith continue to start?

I'm really curious to see what J.J. And now the big question becomes, does Rui reclaim his starting job?

Or does Doreen Phine Smith continue to start? I'm really curious to see what J.J. Redick does. I kind of see it as a coin flip. Personally, my preference would be to continue starting Doreen Phine Smith. I think he's a better fit with the starting five. And I think the bench unit needs Rui's scoring. but we'll see what JJ does.
