Hello and welcome to another episode of telling everybody everything. I am back from a very special

work trip to Los Angeles, special because that was the work trip where I decided to never

ever bring any of my family members on a work trip again. Never again. And I feel like travel has gotten harder maybe purposefully I hate to sound like a conspiracy

theorist but like it's hard to believe that somebody somewhere isn't trying to keep us grounded

because air travel for me anyway now I didn't small children, but it felt a lot more straightforward.

And now I think a lot of people are reporting that almost every flight is delayed or canceled

or their bags get lost or like something goes wrong.

And there was a child on our flight who seemed to be navigating complex medical issues.

And I looked at that beautiful child, really happy boy, great family.

And I thought to myself, Catherine, shut your mouth about anything else.

But I will complain a little bit on here.

So we were meant to go to L.A. You have heard me plugging

this Los Angeles show. And I do feel very grateful to show and tell the promoters for bringing

me out to Los Angeles. It's a difficult thing because I'm not there much at all. I haven't

been there since I was pregnant with Fena. So I haven't really cultivated

an audience in America. Every time you have a work meeting about doing something in America,

the producers and the channels you're meeting with, they go, oh, well, how often are you out here?

And I go, no, no, it doesn't work like that. I'm not just like out here kicking it. And if there happens to be a project for me and I'm in town, I'll come on. It's like if you offer me a project, then I will get on a flight and come and do the project. But they seem to think of it backwards. So like, well, when you're out here, it's like, no, no, no.

Ask me to be out here.

I'll be out here.

Violin and I stayed in America for like six weeks when we were filming the fix for Netflix.

And that's why I was out there because the fix invited me to go out there and film it.
