If you are a longstanding braves fan, there is a former braves mascot that really needs

some help right now.

If you were around for those really thin braves ears at the 70s and 80s, but they absolutely

sucked, you could always sort of depend on going to the game and seeing Chief Nakahoma,

right?

He was their mascot for years and years and years and he's in pretty bad shape right

now.

He is 80 years old now and you might have seen this online, but he has had a whole bunch

of different health complications and the medical bills have become overwhelming for his family.

I think he's dealing with some dementia.

He's got a whole bunch of other things going on and they haven't been able to really,

he's diabetes, I think dialysis and the bills are just piling up.

So if you are attached to being a kid back in the day and seeing him, that family could

really, really use your help right now.

All you got to do is Google his name and it's got a whole bunch of different connections

everywhere to how to help his family out.

Yeah, they've started to go find me page just for him.

I mean, his family remains helpful and optimistic about his potential recovery, but considering

what he's done for our city team.

Yeah, iconic.
