Today, I am very excited to introduce a guest you have been asking for since we've launched

Second Life, the actress, entrepreneur, and overall delightful human, Kristen Bell.

Kristen got her professional star on Broadway when she was just 20 years old and has gone

on to star in everything from critically acclaimed TV series like Veronica Mars and the Good

Place to huge box office hits like forgetting Sarah Marshall and the Frozen franchise.

But as if this doesn't keep her busy enough, Kristen's devotion to giving back to the community

has led her to co-found two companies that do just that. The first is called The Saves Lives and

it started from a desire to take action against childhood malnutrition and has grown into a booming

snack bar company that has stocked in over 20,000 retailer doors including Target, Whole Foods,

and Starbucks around the country. But Kristen didn't stop there. Just last year she and her husband

Dax launched Hello Bello, a line of premium yet affordable baby products. The company already has

close to 200 products and has donated over a million diapers in its first year alone.

Kristen's passion for bringing joy to people through all of her work is beyond inspiring,

Kristen. Hi. On this podcast we like to start at the beginning. So what did you study in school

and what did you think you were going to be when you grew up? I had no idea what I was going to be.

I loved music and I studied, it was called solo and ensemble competition when I was younger and

so I was singing these like weird Italian arias and competing in these like national competitions.
