And today we have the pleasure of being joined by Dr. Christopher McCurdy,

who is a professor of medicinal chemistry at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy.

And he also served as an NIH postdoctoral fellow in opioid

biochemistry which gives him particular expertise to expand on the topic of Cratum or Crodom,

as he will go into more details.

But this is such a big issue because you may not be aware of this, but the number one cause of death in the United States

and people under 50 is from opioid addiction.

So this is a big deal, and I'm so glad that we have Dr.

McCurdy on to help us give us some practical alternatives.
