I'm your host, retired NYPD Sergeant Bill Cannon, 27-year veteran of the NYPD.

You know, Coburg are sentenced.

What have we learned?

And I don't mean that sarcastically.

There were still so many questions.

And for some reason, many of these questions that could have been answered

were never asked by the criminal justice professionals

that could have asked them in the plea hearing.

When Brian Kohlberger pled guilty, they could have had it be required that he

allocated, that he admitted to every aspect of the crime, that he said what he did with the

knife that was never recovered, that he talked about his

motive, that they made him say all these things.

None of that was done.

And I find that the criminal justice people, although they worked very hard in this case,

and they came up with a great result in regards to Brian Kohlberg of being sentenced

to life in prison without the possibility of parole. I still feel a little bit empty here.

I feel empty in the way that there are many questions we don't have answers to.

And when we look, when I hear people say,

we still don't know the motive,

but, you know, I did two shows on what the motive was.

And the motive was a psychosexual related motive.
