Summary

On today’s show, Michelle and I talked about the topic of Mental Health. We all deal with it to varying degrees, and it looks very different for each individual. It could be very minimal for some of you, or it could be your biggest challenge in life. We wanted to normalize the subject a little more for you all and help you connect the dots on how it works hand-in-hand with your physical health. It is all connected, mind-body-spirit. We implore you to put just as much work into your mental health as you do your physical health.

health during this pandemic that i feel like has been grossly undercover by my mainstream media

overdoses a result of people having bad mental health and so they try to find a solution

0:44.0

through a substance it's not just that they're drug addicts and losers they're trying to

0:49.0

fill a hole in their body and their mental health is always screwed up. I've never met a drug addict who

0:55.2

had great mental health. And so we talked a lot about mental health. Actually, that's all we talked

1:00.9

about. And ways to combat that. And just discussing that it's okay, we all deal with it in some

1:09.1

way, shape, or form, or most all of us.

1:12.3

I would say all, but I don't know that for a fact. I have no data to back that up. So it was,

1:17.3

there was a conversation that I felt like needed to be had because I think people see the

1:21.4

outside and they think, oh, that person must never deal with any of this. And I've had people

1:26.3

say that to me before. And I woke up today and my mental health was off for no apparent reason either.

1:31.9

And when you get to a place of understanding that these are the lessons in journey of life and these moments, if you allow them, can be such great teachers.

1:42.0

Those moments of battling some mental health stuff can be such great teachers.

1:46.2

We all deal with it. It just looks different on each person and wears different faces. It has

1:50.4

different degrees, varying degrees of intensity. But it's an underlying issue. I believe that we all

1:57.0

can focus on a little more because when you get that mental health up, the emotional, spiritual start to follow.
