I hope you're having a great Christmas week as we get ready to welcome in the new year

2004 coming up in a few days. Today, Tuesday, December 26th, we are going to continue our best

of Sports Spectrums podcast, 2023. Now yesterday we heard from Patty Gasso from Oklahoma softball, one of the great coaches in all of college sports.

Today, we're going to talk to Kirk Cousins, Minnesota Vikings quarterback.

Now, we talked to Kirk back in March, March 31st, 2023, about the amazing 2022 season that he and the Vikings had and what it means to represent Jesus.

Of course, this year, Kirk was having one of his great seasons individually,

and then the team wasn't performing as well.

Then Kirk, of course, tears his Achilles, and he's lost for the entire season.

I do hope we can talk to Kirk again in 2024

and hear about what it was like to walk through such a difficult period,

such a difficult season with injury.

And that's never something that you want to have,

especially when you're 34, 35 years old like Kirk Cousins is.

But there is not a player in the NFL that I feel like is more destined to follow Jesus,

to preach God's word, and to continue to use his platform as an ambassador for Christ

after he's done playing, and certainly while he's still playing, then Kirk Cousins.
