Happy Wednesday as we're in the middle of Christmas week.

The kids are off from school, and I hope you had a great Christmas.

And I hope you're gearing up for the new year and getting ready for 2024, just like we are here at Sports Spectrum.

Today, we're going to look back to April 28, 2023 in a conversation that we got to have

with George Foreman.

George Foreman, of course, the legendary heavyweight boxing champion.

He's now the successful entrepreneur, of course, the George Foreman Grill.

And he's a preacher.

He's a pastor at the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Houston, Texas. He defeated Joe Frazier for the

heavyweight boxing championship in 73, and he lost it to Muhammad Ali. And then in 1977,

became a follower of Christ. And this conversation, we talked to George Foreman about a few things.

First of all, the movie in 2023, there was a movie that came out about George

Foreman's life called Big George Foreman.

We talk about having his life portrayed on the big screen.

We also talk about his journey with Christ in that 1977 day when he made

a decision to follow Jesus and actually walked away from boxing for almost 10 years until returning

and then became the oldest fighter ever to win a heavyweight championship at the age of 45.

This was a lot of fun talking to George Foreman.

I mean, he's a legend.
