King Charles is due to visit Australia and New Zealand

later on this year, recovering from his cancer treatments.

I praise Prince William who is now on the man on the town

going to a BAFTA film event and also speaking out about Gaza very much maintaining the public face of the

monarchy his wife is indisposed after surgery his father father is not on the road because he's receiving

care. I know learning about this because I come to it late in live that the transparency that we have about the King's illness

is unusual, is new, is fresh, is a product of the 21st century and Charles himself because his father, his grandfather and his

great-grandfather both went through very bad health but the public was not

informed. Do I say that correctly Gregory? I think that

you've got the broad strokes of it definitely and King Charles I think, has always intended to be a more transparent monarch than even his mother

who was out there pretty much, although her own illness, which was known perhaps six months

a year before she passed away, was kept from the public in terms of real detail.

I mean she was elderly so something was always expected to happen there but

the fact that her actual illness was not reported was

made it a bit of a shock when it came out but King Charles has done the opposite he's

tried to be as transparent as possible and that's to a limited degree but that he's done it in a way which actually says,

look, we've all, we all face these threats to our lives.

How do we raise consciousness about this and how do we make this an advantage that we battle

through together and I think I think the king will dominate this situation.

Yes, it could be a more serious form of cancer than we know, but he is tackling it as though it is something which is treatable and that he will be back on the international circuit very soon. He certainly hasn't stopped
