and pick up a good book.

It is so lovely to have you here with us tonight.

This evening we are returning to King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.

Before we continue, however, take a moment to get comfortable.

Let your shoulders drop and your jaw unclench.

Take a deep breath in and sigh it out. If you'd like to, you can even

use your fingertips to massage your jaw muscles for deeper relaxation and feel your body becoming heavier with each breath.

You are safe to relax and listen to the sound of my voice.

Sir Gawain had been accused of treason and was on his way to defend his honour when he heard

of a tournament nearby. He arrived at the castle as a place to rest, but refused to participate, as until his name was cleared, he wished to avoid injury or capture.

The castle ladies watched the tournament from the highest rooms and spotted Sir Gawain, deciding he must be a merchant

or peddler, disguising himself to avoid paying the levees.

The eldest daughter of the castle admired a competing knight named Meliance of Lis,

where her younger sister, known as the maid with the narrow sleeves,

insisted that Garwain was far finer.

The elder girls struck her sister for her insolence.
