At a great Pentecost feast held by King Arthur at Kalyan,

the knights of the round table gathered for games and jousts.

Among them, Sir Lancelot distinguished himself above all others. Queen Gwenevere still admired him.

He had been rescued as a child and raised by the Lady of the Lake after his father's death.

Lancelot devoted himself to winning Guinevere's favour, so he set out, seeking adventures with his cousin Sir Lionel.

While he slept beneath a tree, the dangerous Sir Turquin captured Lionel, along with many other

nights. Meanwhile, four queens, led by the enchantress Morgan Le Fay, discovered the sleeping

Lancelot, enchanted him him and carried him to a castle,

where they attempted to force him to choose one of them as his lady.
