Tonight we are continuing with King Arthur and the Knights of the Roundtable.

But first, let's slow everything down. Breathe in for four and out for four.

Sir Lancelot arrived at a castle after slaying its porter and defeated two giants who had imprisoned many noble ladies.

He freed the captives and continued his journey through the strange lands.

Later he rescued Sir Key from three attacking knights, forcing them to yield to Sir Key rather than himself.

Disguised in Sir Key's armour, Sir Lancelot rode on and defeated several

knights who mistook him. While travelling he followed a bloodhound to a manor, where he learned

of the death of Sir Gilbert and soon agreed to help Sir Meliot Delogres,

who had been mortally wounded. To save him, Sir Lancelot entered the dangerous chapel perilous,

overcame magical illusions, obtained a sacred sword and a bloody cloth, and healed Sir Meliot.

Continuing his adventures, Sir Lancelot rescued a lady's falcon, but was treacherously ambushed by her husband, Sir Felet.

Though unarmed, he defended himself, killed Sir Fallet, and escaped.

He later attempted to protect a lady from her jealous husband, Sir Paderivir,

but the knight deceitfully murdered her anyway. Enraged, Sir Lancelot forced Sir Perivir to carry the lady's body back to Carlyan to Queen Guinevere and confess his crime.

Sir Lancelot returned to King Arthur's Court for Pentecost.

Many knights testified to his bravery, including those he had defeated and those he had rescued.
