Hey friend and welcome to wake me up. In this episode I'll be guiding you through a really

wonderful kindness meditation. In just about 10 minutes not only are you going to be

calm, relaxed and ready for a great day, but you're

going to recognize why you deserve kindness, why everyone else in the world deserves kindness

too, and you'll be excited to go about your day spreading it.

So go ahead and find a comfortable position that you'd like to meditate in.

And if you're starting this from bed, I do recommend that you at least roll over and sit up.

But you know you can do this meditation in any position that you like.

And once you've found that comfortable position,

just allow yourself to settle in.

Mentally set aside anything else you've got going on.

It'll still be there when you're done.

Take a nice deep breath in.

Fill all the way up.

Hold at the top. then exhale, release.

And just go ahead and slowly close your eyes. rise. Use this first moment just to continue settling in.

Release any tension that you're holding on to.

Soften the muscles of your face.

Drop your jaw.

And relax your shoulders down. And recognize that you chose to be here for a reason.

There's something inside of you that was called to this meditation.

So just take a moment to acknowledge whatever that is. Now let's take a few more nice deep breaths together just to continue slowing the body and the mind down.
