This is a podcast that recaps and celebrates the memoirs of badass female celebrities

who have been torn down by tabloids, dissected by social media, and faced heartaches and

triumphs and come out of it all even stronger.

I'm a writer, comedian, and filmmaker.

And this week we are book clubbing two different books from Kim Katrol.

Kim wrote two how-to books, two how-to books.

One is titled Being a Girl, written in 2006, and it is about how to navigate teenage life.

And the other is titled Satisfaction about an entirely different topic.

That is a book about how to have better sex.

And that is written in 2001 with her then husband, he was her co-author.

So these are not classic memoirs.

They are very much how-to books, so we'll be discussing things that are in the book.

And also a bunch of things that she didn't put in the book.

And by the end of the podcast, will you know how to orgasm like Samantha on Sex and the

City?

I hope so, but it won't come from this podcast.

That'll just have to be something you brought to it yourself.
