It was just after 4 p.m. on November 14th, 1995, when an accountant and businessman named Mark Schiller

was finishing up his day at a restaurant he owned. It was called Schlotsky's Deli, and it was near the

airport in Miami. Mark had been working on the books that day, but a big storm was coming.

There were clouds rolling in, and he decided to go home to his wife, Diane, and their two young

children early, before the potential hurricane hit. Mark was originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Over the years, he had worked hard and built up his accounting business,

as well as several other businesses. He had also made a lot of money over the years. He had built

up a fortune. He had a $300,000 house in one of Miami's hottest neighborhoods. He had several

luxury cars, and over a million dollars in overseas accounts mark walked across the

parking lot and right when he got into the driver's seat of his forerunner three men grabbed him

and tased him at first he thought this might be a carjacking he screamed at them to take his watch a gold

Rolex but they grabbed him and yanked him

out of the SUV and pulled him toward a van that was waiting a few feet away. They threw him

inside that van, put a bag over his head and started driving. Mark didn't realize it yet, but this

nightmare was just getting started. This would begin an entire month

of torture. Eventually, this ordeal would include multi-million dollar fraud and end with two dead

bodies. This is a case involving some of the most street smart and yet idiotic group of

criminals that I've ever heard of.
