Homer City, Indiana County, the great state of Pennsylvania, the Keystone State where the election

will be decided.

The candidate who wins Pennsylvania is the President of the United States in January 2025. Helping

me understand the map of Pennsylvania, I welcome my longtime colleague Salina Zito, writing for the Washington Examiner. long time

She takes us to Homer City, Indiana County, and a gathering of the

previously very well employed and now dishome nearly but certainly

unemployed thanks to considerations by the Environmental Protection Agency and other parts of the Cabinet to give us a brighter,

cleaner future by shutting things down. This was a meeting in Homer City by the Interagency Working Group from the Environmental Protection

Agency to answer the questions of people who were disconsolate.

Salina, a very good evening to you. How did this meeting go?

Did the people in the room and I believe it was crowded? Did they learn what they

needed next given that they've lost their livelihoods.

So this meeting, its inception began last October

when Senator Bob Casey brought Department of Energy Secretary

Jennifer Granholm to Western Pennsylvania and to discuss what to do with energy communities

when a coal-fired power plant shuts down and at time, the rollout of the event, it was done with much fanfare. Oh, this is, you know, great. We're going to bring money here here we're going to give you all of these

abilities to get grants and economically revitalize your town after the major employer is gone.
