Elections in multiple states tomorrow are set to gauge how voters feel in the first year of President Donald Trump's second term.

Virginia and New Jersey will elect governors. California will vote on a pivotal ballot measure to redraw its congressional maps, and New York

City will pick its next mayor. The results could signal whether Democrats are regaining ground

ahead of next year's midterms. The party has 34-year-old Democratic Socialist and New York

Assembly member Zoran Mamdani and 46-year-old former Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger as its frontrunners in two of the biggest

races, for New York City mayor and Virginia's governor, respectively.

During an interview on CBS's 60 Minutes yesterday, Trump suggested he would limit federal funding

to his hometown of New York City if Mom Donnie becomes mayor.

It's going to be hard for me as the president to give a lot of money to New York.

Because if you have a communist running New York, all you're doing is wasting the money

you're sending there.

But Mamdani responded today saying he'll spend the next two months setting up his cabinet

to make sure the city can respond if he wins.

Now Donald Trump may speak as if it is his decision.

But this is money that this city is owed.

This is money that we will expect to collect.

Israel has received the bodies of three more deceased hostages held in Gaza.

The remains were transferred to Israel via the Red Cross yesterday

and taken to the country's National Forensics Lab for identification.
