So that winter storm morning remains in effect for most of Central Indiana. That will happen until 7 p.m. tonight.

Snowfall totals in Indiana have ranged from roughly an inch in Muncie to eight and a half inches in Jasper.

That was recorded last night.

Of course, there have been a lot of accidents reported.

The Indiana State Police say 151 crashes with 12 injuries, 76 slide-offs, 103 motorists assists, and 67 travel hazards.

There have been 259 crashes statewide and 271 slide-offs throughout the entire state of Indiana.

So many people still slow going on the roads this morning as you try and make your way around.

Of course, that's what the police and the snow plow drivers would like from you is to take it slow.

And if you don't have to get out, stay at home.

Just extend that Christmas vacation,

holiday. Just one more day, Rob. Yeah, and you hit the nail in the head, which is if you don't have

to be out, don't do it. The roads are deceptively slick and still deceptively dangerous. It

appears as the snow's beginning to taper off that hopefully by later

today that will no longer be a thing. And the reality is some people have jobs where they just

simply have to be at work. And for those people, use extreme caution. But if you don't, we live in

2024. We don't live in 1964 anymore. Most jobs, as we prove during COVID, you can do in some

sort of remote type of fashion. And I think employers now more than ever want to be accommodating

to those sort of things. Look, I mean, the reason I'm working from home today, all kidding aside, is I

own a car that I didn't think would be conducive to these sorts of conditions.

Now, if I really, really, really wanted to get there and take three hours to drive there and back, could I do it?
